How do I reboot my internet equipment?

Many internet woes can be remedied by rebooting your in-home internet equipment. If your SCWISP service came with an antenna mounted to the outside of your home, please follow theΒ three easy steps belowΒ to reboot.

  1. Switch off the power supply to the router (fibre and wireless clients) and dish (if you are a wirelless client) and leave it off as you proceed to the next step.

  2. Leave the units off for 10min, then switch it back on again. This will clear all logs in your router.

  3. Allow approximately three minutes after switching on your plugs to regain power and signal from our towers (wireless clients) and handshake from ONT (fibre clients).
